Director Ruben Ostlund has opened up about Charlbi Dean's death in a new interview, calling it a "shock and a tragedy."
Charlbi Dean had been working with Ostlund on his latest film, Triangle of Sadness, which was set to be her breakout role.
"She was fantastic in the movie and she had so much talent," Ostlund said. "It’s just a huge shock and a tragedy."
Ostlund has posted a touching tribute to the actor-model who died Monday of an undisclosed sudden illness.
Charlbi Dean, 26, had been working with Ostlund on his latest film Triangle of Sadness, set to be her breakout role.
