Tributes to Queen Elizabeth II around the world

Queen Elizabeth II will have a state funeral on September 19, Buckingham Palace has announced.

The funeral will be held at St Paul's Cathedral in London and will be attended by the Queen's family, close friends, and dignitaries from around the world.

The funeral will be a national event and people are being encouraged to line the streets to pay their respects.

This is the first time that a state funeral has been held for a British monarch since King George VI died in 1952.

Details about the funeral are still being announced, but it is expected to be a very solemn occasion.

All British flags will be flown at half-mast and many other countries are expected to do the same in honor of the Queen.

The funeral will be attended by members of the Royal Family, as well as foreign dignitaries from around the world.

It is not yet known whether US president Donald Trump will be invited.

The funeral will be held at St Paul's Cathedral, which has a capacity of 2,500 people.

The cathedral has been the site of many royal occasions, including the funerals of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997 and Margaret Thatcher in 2013.
